37th FAI World Gliding Championships

The 37th FAI World Gliding Championships at Narromine Australia will be held from December 2nd through December 16. The public are welcome and entry is free. The competition is being held at Narromine Airfield. There are 80 pilots from 21 countries around the world competing in 3 classes. Gliders will fly predetermined tasks each day and will achieve average speeds over 150kph over a 350 to 550 klm task.
