Tomingley
This quaint village is the southern gateway to the Narromine Shire, and is also adjacent to the entry of Goobang National Park.
Goobang National Park offers some fantastic 4wd tracks and scenic bushwalking tracks set amongst 42,000ha.
Camping grounds, basic facilities and picnic areas are also available. Further information can be obtained from the Narromine Visitor Information Centre.
If you’re travelling north, why not stop and stretch your legs in the peace and quiet of Tomingley before continuing your journey.
Enjoy a counter meal or take time out for a relaxing picnic or BBQ in the Dicken Park gazebo. You’ll be glad you did!
Located just North of Tomingley (50km south of Dubbo and 35km south of Narromine), Quentin Park Alpaca Farm and Studio gives you the opportunity to meet, pat, learn and maybe kiss an Alpaca. Quentin Park is home to 62 alpacas, sheep, cattle, 5 dogs (which love a belly rub), some chickens and a couple of teenage girls. The Alpaca farm frequently holds events such as Alpaca Pics, Picnics and Punch, Alpaca Meet & Greet and High Tea with the Alpacas. Outside of their special events, the farm is currently open by appointment only. Click here for more information.
