About the Book: The Tap Cats of the Sunshine Coast follows the journey of a group of talented dancers known as the Tap Cats, who are preparing for the Senior Superstar Competition. As they face both the challenges of the competition and personal trials, their path takes them all the way to New York and a beautiful Greek island. Along the way, they discover that even the closest of friends can harbor secrets. About Christine Sykes: Christine Sykes is an accomplished author with three published books under her belt. Her latest work, The Tap Cats of the Sunshine Coast, was inspired by her aunt's experience of taking up tap dancing during her retirement. In addition to this heartwarming novel, Christine's writing career includes a memoir titled Gough and Me: My Journey from Cabramatta to China and Beyond, which won the prestigious Society of Women Writers non-fiction award. Her fiction work, The Changing Room, draws from her experiences at the non-profit organization Dress for Success and also won the Society of Women Writers fiction award. Christine's diverse background as a community worker and senior public servant adds depth to her storytelling. She is an active member of several writing organizations and generously shares her knowledge through writing workshops.
